Najac. With Accueil Paysan, unity is strength

More than a brand, a state of mind. Based on the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Accueil Paysan network exists to build, defend and promote peasant agriculture and a diversified, united, ecological and living rural world. For more than 30 years, its members have been opening their living space and welcoming anyone who wishes for a stay, a meal, an activity or a tasting of products, in order to make people discover their profession, their culture and their territory. Together, they work with the partners of the network, which has 770 sites across the country, to allow, here and elsewhere, welcoming farmers to live with dignity from their activities and preserve life in rural areas. And also to open the dialogue, the exchange and the education through the reception on the farm.

Sunday hike

“Our primary concern is to exchange and share with the people we welcome. We want them to feel good at home, rest, discover new things and be able to flourish from the intangible wealth that we share”, insist its promoters. In Aveyron, Accueil paysan weaves its web. And in particular in Najacois country where four entities: the Marigot farm in La Fouillade, the stars campsite and the Daoudou farm in Najac and the Gourpassou campsite in Bor-et-Bar have decided to make a cause around a spring hike scheduled for this Sunday June 19, with an appetizer on Saturday June 18 at the camping des étoiles around the Bernardo Sandoval concert (meal €10 and concert €10, reservations on 06 22 03 00 69). On Sunday, four hikes are announced with the appointments scheduled at the Accueil paysan stand at the Najac market from 9.30 a.m. On the menu, a 13 km hike (duration 3.5 hours) punctuated by a break at the campsite stars and a picnic at the Marigot farm. At the same time, there will be a mountain bike ride of 23 km one way and 12 km returning to the Viaur and the Gourpassou campsite. Also on display are two self-guided circuits on foot or by bike towards the Daoudou farm and another towards the three previous sites.
