In Vic-Fezensac, the tourist office has inaugurated its new premises
The Armagnac and d’Artagnan tourist office has 75 communes, 3 communities of communes, 800 service providers and new premises in Vic-Fezensac.
The tourist office has changed premises: installed rue des Cordeliers, they took over the premises of the Treasury. This new headquarters was inaugurated last Wednesday, in the presence of many elected officials and in particular the departmental councilors Emeline Lafon and Benoit Desenlis.
The mayor and president of the community of municipalities of Artagnan en Fezensac Barbara Neto underlined: “I am delighted that this empty room becomes a place full of life”. The town hall has redone all the joinery and the agents of the tourist office have repainted the interior.
Nicole Labarrère, vice-president of the Tourist Office of Armagnac and d’Artagnan with Dominique Hébert, recalled that, as this structure is made up of 3 communities of communes, it is headed by a representative per territory; Véronique Thieux-Louit, mayor of Lupiac, is the president.
75 municipalities
The management committee of the tourist office is made up of elected officials and Mathieu Dinguidard, director, with Hélène Nasarre. It brings together 75 municipalities, 3 communities of municipalities, 5 main offices, 15 employees and 800 service providers.
The director is very happy with this change: “We are in the very center of the city, which is good for tourists and for everyone. Furthermore, we are doubling the living area to better accommodate our visitors, our tourists or the inhabitants of the country and beyond. Our project: to develop our shop, in order to highlight our premises in the Fezensac area”.
A blank wall at the back of the room is dedicated to exhibitions; it is currently occupied by the works of Reine Marcellin. The presence outside the walls of the tourist office will also be maintained for the Tempo Latino event and the shop will evolve. The Vic-Fezensac team consists of Lydie Favarin and Laureline Lamothe.
